Bookboost AB

The account-level layer every product runs on: operators and their roles, your Brand Library, API access, and the Bookboost app on your phone.

Platform

Why your Operators list contains more entries than you have colleagues, and what a bot's operator record does and does not hold.

Bots in your operator list

What De-Activate does, how to bring someone back, and why it is not the same as Delete.

Inactive operators

Bookboost can sign you out automatically after a chosen period of inactivity, warning you first, to protect screens that are sometimes left unattended.

Automatic sign-out after inactivity

Add a second sign-in step with an authenticator app, and how an organisation can require it for every operator.

Two-factor authentication

Setting your display name, changing your password, and seeing the role and property access an Admin has given you.

Your operator profile

Changing your password from your profile, resetting it when you cannot log in, and what to send support if neither works.

Changing or resetting your password

Giving one operator two roles, four combinations worth using, and what happens when you take one away.

Combining roles

Why an email address can be blocked by a deleted profile, how support restores it, and how to avoid it next time.

Error when creating an operator

What only an Admin can do, how many Admins to have, and the four things Admin still cannot do.

The Admin role

Inviting colleagues, the difference between Invite and Add New, and setting up email signatures.

Adding and managing operators

The list that decides which properties an operator can work in, how to set it, and why an empty list is not a restriction.

Accessible Apps

The three roles, a table of what each one reaches, and why two roles are usually better than Admin.

Operator roles

The role for guest-facing staff: what it opens, who it suits, and where it stops.

The Service role

The role for campaign work: what it opens, who it suits, and why it cannot read replies.

The Marketing role

How Bookboost limits the messages, reservations, and guest data an operator can see to the properties they have been given access to.

Property-level data visibility in the Unified Inbox

If the "Forgot password" reset isn't working, your Bookboost contact can send your login securely via a 1Password one-time link. Here's what to expect.

🔐 Forgot Password Not Working? How We'll Securely Send Your Login

The three reasons access is blocked, how to tell them apart, and what to send support for each.

Why can't I log in?

How to invite up to 100 colleagues in one go, setting each person's name, property access, role, and team before the invitations are sent.

Inviting several operators at once

Operators and roles: add people, decide what each can reach, and manage their profiles and passwords.

People

What an API key does, a Bookboost example, and why it should be treated like a password.

What is an API key?

Bookboost has two public APIs, v1 and v3, with different authentication, different data shapes, and different capabilities. This article tells you which one your project needs, and when to use…

Which Bookboost API should I use?

How to exchange a client ID and secret for an access token, how long tokens last, the extra headers partners send, and what to check when a login fails silently.

Authenticating with the v3 API

The flat v1 profile against the nested v3 profile, when to use create rather than ingest, and the deduplication rules to know before two systems write profiles.

How guest profiles are shaped in v1 and v3

The four things integrators most often go looking for and will not find on either API, and what to do instead in each case.

What the Bookboost APIs do not do

How to request a key from support, where to find it in Settings, and what happens when you rotate it.

API keys

What an API key is, how to request one from support, and how to keep track of what each key is used for.

API access

Set your fonts, colours, and reusable images once in your Brand Library, so your guest app and email campaigns stay on brand without you restyling anything by hand.

Setting up your Brand Library

Choose the typeface for headings, paragraphs, and buttons in your guest app, so every page is styled the same way without you formatting anything by hand.

Setting your brand fonts

Set your seven brand colours once so your guest app uses them and they appear as a ready-made palette in every colour picker in the email builder.

Setting your brand colours

Create named image and video slots in your Brand Library so each property can hold its own file under the same name, and your guest app shows the right one…

Creating custom assets

Set your fonts, colours, and reusable images once, so your guest app and campaigns stay on brand.

Brand Library

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
