Profiles

What an audience is, the AND/OR rules that decide who receives a campaign, and an index of every filter and where it is documented.

Audiences

Build an audience from the answers guests give in a Bookboost form, so you can target or exclude guests based on the option they selected.

Segment guests by a form field value

How to use the Birthday audience filter to reach guests a fixed number of days before their birthday, so the message lands ahead of the day itself.

Targeting guests a set number of days before their birthday

The App selector decides both which guests an audience can reach and which filters you can use, so it is the first thing to set and the last thing to…

The App selector on an audience

What each column shows, what Reach recalculates, which of the four row icons does what, and why some audiences cannot be deleted.

The Audiences list screen

What each card in the panel beside the audience builder means, why the percentages do not add up, and what to check before you send.

Reading the insights panel while building an audience

Segmenting by who opened, clicked, or already received a campaign, and how to use exclusion as a frequency cap.

Audience filters: campaign behaviour

The four filters that keep an audience to guests you can actually contact, and why Reachable belongs at the top of every one.

Audience filters: reachability

Splitting an audience in two to test one change across two campaigns, and how the odd/even split actually works.

A/B testing with audiences

The thirty filters that segment by the booking: arrival and departure, the stay, its status, where it came from, money, companies, and forms.

Audience filters: reservation

The twenty filters that segment by who the guest is: their history with you, what is on their profile, their consent, and their forms, lists and tasks.

Audience filters: guest and profile

Copying an audience so you can change it without touching the original, and why editing a live one is risky.

Duplicate an audience

The "Guest is in Hotel" and "Guest stays over at Hotel" audience filters support dynamic date options (Today, This week, and Next X days) that recalculate each time the audience…

Dynamic date options on the "Guest is in Hotel" and "Guest stays over at Hotel" filters

Build and target audiences, including segmenting guests by form answers, tags and profile filters.

The single request that creates the guest profile, adds it to a list, and records consent, with the response codes and what to show the visitor for each.

Connecting your website signup form to Bookboost

How to bulk-add guests who already exist in Bookboost to a list, how to fire a specific campaign from your own code, and which other endpoints are available.

Adding existing guests to a list and sending campaigns from your own site

The failures that come up most often with website signups, what causes each one, and how to fix it.

Why a website signup or confirmation email is not working

Connect a sign-up form on your own website to a Bookboost list through the API, using the consent UUID, the list UUID, and an access token.

Add subscribers to a list via the API

Putting a guest on a list by hand, what happens immediately afterwards, and when a tag or audience would suit better.

Add an existing guest to a list

Why a guest's number can be marked invalid, what the two validation passes check, and how to fix it.

How phone numbers are validated

Searching, filtering, sorting, saved views and CSV export from one table, and why an export only covers the rows you have loaded.

The Guests list

What each table accepts, how much you need to type, and why a record you know exists sometimes does not come back.

Searching in the Reservations and Guests tables

What anonymising a guest removes, what it keeps, and why it cannot be undone.

Anonymise a guest

Labelling guest profiles, turning a tag into an audience, and why case-sensitivity and naming conventions matter so much.

Guest tags

Combining two duplicate guest records into one, what to check first, and why it cannot be undone.

Merge two guest profiles

What each consent status on a guest profile means, and which campaigns it lets through.

Guest consent statuses

Creating the consents a guest can agree to, what Auto-grant and Require confirmation change, and how to apply one to a profile.

Set up and apply consent options

Let your guests choose whether you reach them by email, SMS, or WhatsApp, and have your campaigns honour that choice.

Guest channel preference

Add the silence tag to a guest profile to keep that guest out of your campaigns, without deleting or anonymising their record.

Stop a guest from receiving campaigns

Working with guest profiles: search and filter the guest list, merge duplicates, tag and segment, and handle consent and anonymisation.

Guests

Prepare the file, import it, add the guests to a list, and check their consent before you send anything.

Import guest data from a file

Every field the Property Data Importer accepts across the five models, what it takes, and which ones are required.

Property Data Importer Fields Available

Map the consent column to a consent UUID so an import can attach a consent captured at another property in your organisation.

Consent UUID mapping in the Property Data Importer

Bringing guest and property data into Bookboost from a file, and which fields each importer accepts.

Imports

The nine tabs on a guest profile, what each one holds, and where to go for the details you can change.

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
