Preview a campaign without opening it

View Templates shows a live campaign's message exactly as a guest receives it, from the campaign list, without going into the builder.

Opening a live campaign in the builder to check what it says is a slightly risky habit. Any change you make, even one you did not mean to make, leaves the campaign carrying unpublished changes while it carries on sending the old version.

View Templates avoids that. It shows you the finished message without putting you in the editor.

Opening it

  1. Find the campaign in the list.

Click on What to do in the city…

  2. Open its three-dot menu.

    Click on highlight

  3. Under Insights, choose View Templates.

    Click on View Templates

It is available on any campaign that has been published, whether that campaign is currently sending or not.

What you get

The panel shows the message rendered as a guest would receive it, with your branding, images and buttons in place, and tokens resolved rather than shown as tokens.

Above the preview:

  • A dropdown for the language and channel, for example German on Multichannel. Switch it to check every version the campaign can send.

  • Select example, which picks a real booking to render the message against. This is how you confirm tokens are pulling the values you expect rather than looking at placeholders.

  • Test E-mail, which sends the version you are looking at to yourself.

When to reach for it

  • Checking a live campaign. Someone asks what the pre-arrival email actually says. Look, without touching it.

  • Checking every language. Step through the dropdown. A language nobody has filled in is much more obvious here than in the builder.

  • Checking tokens against a real booking. Choose an example and see whether the door code, the room name and the dates come through.

  • Before you publish a change. Compare what a guest gets now with what you are about to send them.

The related panel

The same Insights section may also show Whatsapp Templates, on campaigns that use WhatsApp. That is a different view: it shows what was submitted to WhatsApp for approval and whether it was approved.

Put simply, View Templates is what the guest sees, and Whatsapp Templates is what WhatsApp was asked to approve.

Getting help

Open Talk to Us in the left menu of the platform, or email [email protected]. Tell us the campaign name and which language and channel you were looking at.
